I want to grow my iMac's memory, do I have to use Apple memory or can I use an external vendor memory?

I can't seem to find 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory modules at the Mac store

also, base memory is 4GB, maximum 16GB, can I grow it to 32?

anyone can suggest other memory brand?

You don't have to use memory from Apple. You can find the proper memory for your model at one of the following vendors, and it will be less expensive.
