For my MacBook Pro 15" can I use an 60W Charging Adapter? Will it harm my computer?

It would rapidly lead to likely charger failure, not however to the Macbook

It would burn out one of the 2 capacitors on the charger block board in the charger in a likely even.

you need the correct charger.

A lower power need (macbook Air) can use a higher rated charger, but a higher power (need from a macbook) should not use a lower rated charger.

You can use the lower wattage adapter but it is not recommended. The only thing that will happen is your 15" model will not do both charge the battery and run the system at the same time. It will charge the battery when the system is powered off, and maybe when idle, but not when you are actively using it.

But I suggest you buy the correct wattage AC charger for it.
