Q: stolen item

HI every one

I have a question about my stolen laptop . I have an apple ID and there are two devices rigesterd but the thing is when I log in into Find my I phone I see the two devices off although one of them is on .It doesnt show my I phone is on wondring why?

I asked this question to track down my stolen laptop as I know whenever the stealer uses the inernet Fine my I phone will show me its location

Any suggestion that I CAN do to get my stolen devise back .
