I can't make an in- app purchase .

When I click to make a purchase in any of my apps it pops up like it normally would asking me for my Apple ID password & when I enter it. It pops up & says that the Apple ID cannot be found or is incorrect but it's the right password that I'm entering .. I can't figure it out
