Splicing/Editing Audio Files GB

Hi all,

I'm splicing and merging audio in garageband. Sometimes I can hear a slight tick or pop between merged files, but other times I don't. How can I avoid this? Is there a trick or easy way to ensure the files merge together seemlessly without any clicks or pops?

Thanks for any advice you may have to offer.

no easy way, you need to zoom in as far as you can (GB doesn't really zoom in far enough, like an audio editor can), and experiment with where the cut is.

you need the waveform to be a zero-cross point, where the amplitude is 0, to avoid a click
