battery drain on 7.0.6

Since I upgraded to 7.0.6 my battery drains at an alarming rate. Since 8:00 this morning I have made one call and checked email - the battery is now 51% after 2 hours! This was fine before the update.

I have cloased all apps - still have exactly the same issue. Phone gets hot now when screen is on suggestiig the processor is doing a lot of work.

Is it possible to downgrade back to 7.0.4 (I was on 7.0.4 before the update)?

I also have exactly the same error as you guys and i'm a bit worried because it's a new post issued by my carrier and i'm already getting this problem which only started after 7.0.6 update. My bad that I was on auto-update mode. Phone version when issued to me originally was 7.0.4 and battery was in good performance. I hope we guys will get this issue resolved soon...

I have had the same battery drain and heating problem since the 7.0.6 update on my iPhone 5. I have tried all the suggested fixes with no improvement. I've also noted that charging takes much longer now. This is probably due to the constant drain occurring simultaneously.

Do the developers not test their upgrades? Are we all beta testers?

I am more than frustrated. I called up Apple support. The phone went from working fine to discharging from 100 percent to 0 in less than 30 minutes. The update made my phone a paperweight and they point the figure at me. My phone is too "old" it is 2 years old. I should just go to my carrier and get a NEW PHONE!! Well I will and it will not be an Apple. If you break something you make it right. You do not blame your customer. This was company I thought did the right thing and took responsiblity for their mistakes. It is not.

Problem man..

Eversince upgraded my iOS from iOS 7.0.5 to iOS 7.0.6

My iPhone 4s won't go into standby mode..

A fully charge iPhone 4S can drain from 100 to 70% without doing anything.

That's the reason i am holding off my iPad mini retina OS upgrade.

Having a clean restore and no backup from old doesn't seems to help..

Anyone?

My problem statement..

I was really impressed when I got my new 5s - battery life was abotu double on 7.0.3 and 7.0.4 and evben 7.0.5 when compared to my iPhone 5

It seemed finally that the various radio transmitter / receivers activated intelligently and did not burn the battery unessesarily.

Then 7.0.6 happend!

We are worse than ever, worse than a 5, worse than a bad battery

Stunning job Sir Ive @ apple, just please iron out the bugs ...
