Q: Only German for Switzerland's iTunes store

Switzerland has now German as the only language (we have three official languages!). Why we can't change to French or Italian as before?

    Silvia,

The iTunes language document states that the Switzerland iTunes store supports "British English, German, and French."  Did it not give you those three choices?

It was last updated in 2011 so it may be incorrect.

This has been a major PITA and one of the main reasons iTunes has become insignificant for me. Your are right, the interface is in English but all the propositions are in German and of no interest at all. It's like showing Chinese songs to someone living in the US. No offense intended but that is what is amounts to.

I guess Apple has decided that Switzerland is all German speaking.

I guess Apple has decided that Switzerland is all German speaking.

My experience from living in Switzerland was anybody who is young enough to figure out how to use a computer can speak German, English, French, and probably Italian too.
