Q: Signed up for a one month free trial for the saturday and sunday mirror.  Automatically confirms subscription after the free trial if not cancelled.  Unable to cancel as there is no app or details on who to contact.

Signed up for a one month free trial for the Saturday and Sunday Mirror.  Automatic subscription if not cancelled.  Unable to cancel as there is not an app or any contacts.  Can anyone advise how we ascertain the details.

    Assuming you mean the Daily Mirror newspaper app, maybe go to their website or send an email to one of the email addresses found in the App Store decription.  I'm not planning on downloading the app to see if there is a way to cancel from within the app or from the Settings menu (though you might look there just to be sure).

     

    As a general rule, I avoid "free" subscriptions to anything.  They bet on on you forgetting to cancel. And they almost never make it easy to cancel.
