Feb 28, 2014 8:59 AM in response to David Udenby drwcl,I have two iPhones at work now (mine, and a senior director's) that cannot send email to Exchange after the 7.0.6 upgrade.
The symptom seems to be creating a new Exchange account under 7.0.6 -- when I did that for my director's phone, it stopped working to send.
I had Exchange working, and apparently working after the 7.0.6 upgrade; but when I re-configured the Exchange account, it began to exhibit the same behavior.

Configuration problems with IMAP e-mail on iOS with a non-standard SSL port.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
Cheers, Tom

Feb 28, 2014 11:12 AM in response to David Udenby drwcl,This procedure seemed to work for me ... not sure which steps actually contirbute to the fix, and which are raindance:
1. Delete existing accounts that exhibit problems (in my case, gmail and exchange)
2. Power cycle (not the two-button reset, just a power off / power on restart)
3. Recreate accounts deleted previously
The email accounts newly rebuilt now seem to be able to send correctly.
The particular nature of the email bug is extremely obnoxious - the silent failure is not immediately apparent -- so I hope Apple is working to understand and address this issue. It undermines confidence greatly.
