My trash can will not empty

The issue started with my spotify app. The app wasn't working properly, so in my attempt to uninstall it, i moved all the files to the trash. When I tried to empty my trash can, it would delete most of the files, but seemed to be stuck on about 19 files. No matter how long, it just wouldn't delete those files. I have restarted my computer, etc multiple times.
