I've just restarted my Macbook Pro and for some reason all my folders that were on my desktop are no longer then.However when I go to Finder>desktop they are showing. However I am unable to drag and drop any folder or file on to my desktop.How can I solve this as it is furstrating?

Desktop Folders Not Appearing on Desktop?

I've just restarted my Macbook Pro and for some reason all my folders that were on my desktop are no longer then.

However when I go to Finder>desktop they are showing. However I am unable to drag and drop any folder or file on to my desktop.
