Q: HELP.  Set up initial time capsule.

I have followed instructions and all I get is a flashing yellow light.  I open airport utility and it can't find anything.  What am I doing wrong?

 

I have a new AirPort Express and a Time Capsule.  I'm a little clueless as to how to get them set up.  Directions aren't helping...

 

Insight?

    We need to know how you are trying to set them up..

     

    What is the modem? Is it a router?

     

    Which of the two is plugged into the modem router? Express or TC?

     

    How is plugged in?? Ethernet Lan port modem to WAN port of the apple router?

     

    What mode is it running in?

     

    Then how are you connecting the second router to the first? Wireless extend or ethernet?

     

    Give a screenshot of what you do see in the airport utility can also help.
