Q: No 24 hour clock in Calendar?

I use a 24 hour clock in everything I do, but it seems to be unavailable in iCal. Is this the case, and if so, why?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9), October 2013, 27", 32 MB RAM

Peter,

Quit Calendar, open System Preferences...>Language & Regions>Regions: and set/-re-set the appropriate Region. Also, make sure the "Time format:" in that preference pane is checked for 24-Hour Time.
