recovering unsaved documents in mac word 2011

that is a statement. Ask a question if you have one, and be specific. Also, you cant recover unsaved documents once word has been closed out.

Thanks. I had hoped to recover an unsaved file...usual story closing several windows and hit an active one by mistake..... Found a hint in another post to look in $TMPDIR via Terminal. Thought I had found it, as there was an entry about when I had hit close file...and not saved. It has a few files in it but all are zero length.

Regret I had closed Word...which perhaps zero's these files.

Any other thoughts anybody?
