This is totally out of date. How would I do this with the current software?

I don't have dictation and speech. I only have speech. Help!!

MacBook Pro, iOS 7.0.6

you need OS X 10.8 or higher. you have iOS 7.0.6 listed in your profile which is for iDevices and is a mobile operating system. What version of OS X are you currently running?

Im running 10.7.5

There was no high number than 7.0.6

so I just clicked on it because it wouldn't let me continue without clicking something.

you need 10.8 or higher, that is why you do not have dictation. Also, if you go back you can select 10.7.5. See here:
