Power Button to Sleep MacBook Pro after 10.9.2 update seems to have stopped working.
If I hold down tho, the dialog pops up?

They changed the behavior because people were accidentally hitting the power button on laptops.
Yeah I found you have to hold it down for just a little over a second...
New Feature I suppose...

Indeed, it still works for me without waiting for a dialog, but you do have to press it slightly longer than you used to. A quick tap won't do it, but you don't have to hold it for long.
I actually like the current approach -- hard to trigger accidentally, but pretty easy to trigger. Of course, it's far less discoverable than it once was.
