Feb 25, 2014 11:21 PM in response to nikerunner93by FelipeV,Take the SIM card out and put it back in. If that doesn't solve the problem, try resetting the phone by pushing on the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. If that fails, the card might be damaged. Get a new card or borrow a card from someone who uses the same carrier to test it out.

Feb 26, 2014 1:41 PM in response to nikerunner93by xime57,I dont know if it has to do with the update i just made (i think it doesnt..) but the same happens to me, at first i could fix it by turning the phone off and on again... worked for a while and then this "no sim" message appeared more and more often.. now it doesnt work at all.. not even by turning it off and on, taking the sim in and out...
I tried using my dads sim and it doesnt work either so its a problem with the phone not the SIM.. ive been reading other discussions here of 2012 and it seem to happen a lot (more than 190 people replied having the same problem).. i read that they got a new phone from apple, so maybe youll have to make an appointment at the genius bae.. (btw, mine is an iphone 5 though and new because i just got it changed because the last one had another problem) Not happy at all...
