The internet on my iPad won't work

My iPad disconnected from the internet randomly the other day and since I've been trying all the quick fixes I've found everywhere (brightness, forgetting networks, resetting iPad, updating etc.)

My wifi comes up sometimes, but when I type the password and try to connect it says that the iPad cannot connect. I put my sim in but that didn't help with the internet issues. I've even tried other wifis and still nothing.

I was wondering if there was anything else I can do or if it's some kind of hardware problem?
