My iPad sound has become crackly

Try This...

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...

Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...

Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...

Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

Release the Buttons...

If no joy... Try a Restore...

1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.

2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

Try reset all settings

Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset

Hi boss - my ipad2 gone crackly on FaceTime tried reset didn't work. I don't have laptop hence can't make back up to perform restore, but doing the restore would it fix 100% ? I'll probably take the risk if it will fix it...
