Is there any keyboard command to use if you would like to change sheet. I often work with one sheet with information to be looked up quite often, allt the accountnumbers for instance. And to change sheet with the mouse is just stealing small pieces of time.

The slow way is clicking on the left or right arrows:
A faster way is to swipe the band of Sheet names left or right.
Change the order of Sheet Tabs by dragging a Sheet Tab left or right. Put them into an order that suits your work.

Thanks.. I do use the swipe method. But this is still "mousebound" and one just longs after something like
"Shift" + arrow or something similar to quickly browse through the different sheets.
But so far I have not been able to see if there is an hidden command somewhere in this extremely useful program...

Thank you I know.. but sometimes a new demand turns up and the keyboard command is not known on all lists so far..

Use the Provide Numbers Feedback menu item in the Numbers menu to request this feature enhancement. Postings there go directly to Apple. Postings here go to users like yourself.

Below are links to two Automator Services that can be assiged keyboard shortcuts.
After double-click installation (and perhaps a click on 'download anyway' in System Preferences > Privacy & Security) they look like this in the Services Menu.
You assign keyboard shortcuts in System Preferences > Keyboard as shown here:
The shortcuts I have here work on my machine but you may want to set them to something else that doesn't conflict with shortcuts you already have.

If you open these in Automator (in Finder option Go > Library > Services) you will see they can be customized to give access to your sheets in various ways.

And here's another approach to this. I hit shift-command-j (the keyboard shortcut I assigned in System Preferences) and a list of the sheets in the current document pops up:
I type a number from the list and jump immediately to that sheet. The hands never have to leave the keyboard.

Hi Leif,
Glad to hear it's working there. As you've seen, it goes to the first cell of the first table of the target sheet. In the goToSheetNum handler you could easily change that to the last cell of the first table, etc., depending on your needs. Post if you have any problems/suggestions.

Simply hold down: ⌘ + Shift and then use the right and left brackets to move right or left through your sheets (i.e. ⌘ + [ or ⌘ + ])
