Q: can't connect to itunes store

Do you need your ipod connected in order to access the itunes store using the Windows App?

iPod classic, iOS 7.0.6

OK .. I have a little more information. I did a diagnostics and am have internet connection but the secure link to itunes store fails (Windows 7). I found this topic:

Unfortunately, this did not fix me. So, I followed the next suggestion:

When I run the autoruns program, Under Winsock Providers I have Apple Bonjour (which I know is ok) but also Microsoft Windows Live. I don't understand what the next step is.
PLEASE HELP!
