Cannot download apps have to register in Canadian Store?

Has anyone else had a problem downloading an app and a message pops up

"Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store.

You must switch to the Canadian store before purchase."

First of all this suddenly popped up was downloading app fine up until this point

Did I accidentally switch accounts?

And more importantly how do I correct this.
