Hi all,

 

I have more than 5 gb on ma pad and i wanna transfer 5 to icloud. Every time i try  it says too much to transfer. I know its obvious.. Can you help ...

iPad 2, iOS 7.0.6

    You can't, that is not how iCloud works.

    iCloud backs up your personal data to the "cloud"   You have 5 GB of free storage.

     

    You can't "transfer" data off the device to iCloud to make room.

     

    To see exactly what you are backing up to the cloud, go to:

    Settings

    iCloud

    Backup and storage

    Manage storage

    show all apps

          Now you see how much data is backed up from each app on the iPad.  You can switch off any App whose data you do not need.

     

    To transfer photo or video to Box for ios.  This is an online storage for Apple devices you get 10 GB free.  Sign up with your Apple ID.    Then you can delete photos from the iPad.
