Goodnotes on ipad 2

Hi, I´m thinking of getting an ipad 2, but I´m interested in the app Goodnotes. Can I install it on an ipad 2? Is there still a compatible version? From what I´ve seen, now there´s is version 4 and is only compatible with IOS 7 or later versions. Any ideas? Thanks!
