after installing itunes 11.1.5 it crashes my computer every time I launch it as soon as it starts downloading from the cloud.
If I run itunes in safe mode and do not download from the cloud it will run all day but as soon as I launch it normally so I can download from the icloud it crashes the whole computer.
I can provide full driver and software specs if necassary since this is a custom built machine.

Hi, I more or less had the same problem on my Mac.
I disconnected my Mac from the internet and disabled every setting in the Store and the Sharing iTunes settings tab. Then I restarted iTunes (and maybe even my Mac) and reenabled everything. Runs fine now.
Unfortunately, my "fix" only delays the crash, so not a solution…
Blue screen of death type crash? Is there an error message? Have you tried reinstalling iTunes in the way shown in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates?

I'm having a similar issue on my Mac Mini. After upgrading to 11.1.5 iTunes will crash on trying to load (and not actually start).
I get an error message stating "iTunes quit unexpectedly while using the AudioUnit plug-in".
Everything was fine before the update.
I have been having problems since 11.1.4 update. iTunes will "quit unexpectatly" seconds after starting when my Mac is connected to the internet. I have tried to disable auto sync and store stuff but nothing really has changed.
Any ideas?
