Hi. My MacBook Air was loading pages too slow a for few days then closed down. Now, I can not restart it. Do I need a new battery? I had been deleting cookies also, mostly 3rd party ones, when this happened.
Thanks for any help. I'm new at this.

Does it start when the power adapter is connected?
Try a SMC reset:

If no success, an Apple store genius bar appointment is the best option.
