External Display (HDMI) stopped working with latest update 10.9.2

I just updated to OS X 10.9.2 and all of a sudden my external display (hdmi) stopped working. I have tried resetting the PRAM and NVRAM and also deleting the window server plists but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?
