keeping one ibook open for use as a display

we are planning on useing an ibook as a display in our museum, we would like it if the ibook stays open so the user cant go back to the bookshelf, the home button will hidden by the stand. we have tried useing guided access so if the tool bar to return to the library drops down it isnt useable but this leaves a grey bar along the ibook, is there a way to make the guided access grey block out bits clear or is there a way to keep the selected ibook open? Thanks

Thank you very much for your help. It doesnt quite solve the not being able to go back to the shelf issue but it is a good way of stopping people access the store or shut the app alltogether. do you know a way to disable the edit function on the library screen, as it is still possible to delete the ibook if some one decided they wanted to. or is this a step too far?

thanks again

I don't think so. Maybe increase the width of the top of the stand or put a peice of plastic over that part of the screen. You could cut out parts of the navigation that people need to navigate the book and keep Library covered. I don't have mine with me to determine if that's a possible solution or not. It would have to be a couple milimeters thick and non-conductive so if someone touched it, their touch wouldn't be registered.
