Getting Chord Trigger noise, any solutions?

Placing the Midi FX plug-in Chord Trigger on any VST Plug-In is proving most unhelpful due to clipping/distotion noise of some sort during playback, has anyone else had this problem and if so is there a fix?

Logic Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
