I'm having trouble closing my mail

I have been trying to track down this problem without luck (mail won't quit on shutdown). What you need to do is force quit mail. You can do this by right clicking on the dock icon while holding the option key, then select force quit. You can also open utility manager from the utility folder in applications, type mail in the search box then select the running application and again force quit.
