how do I download pdf from Yahoo mail then send pdf from gmail?

I have a pdf attached to an email in my Yahoo mail account that I can view in the iPad Mail app. I want to download it to my iPad, then email it via my gmail account or upload the file to another website.

  1. I have read previous postings and downloaded the iBooks and Adobe Reader apps. When I open these apps I don't see the pdf that I viewed on my iPad from my Yahoo mail in the iPad Mail app.
  2. I did see a posting about setting the Adobe Reader app to sharing in iTunes. However, when I open iTunes on my iPad I only see my music and not the Adobe Reader app I downloaded from the store.

Is there a step I am missing please? Your help is greatly appreciated!

You will need to send the PDF from the Mail app to any reader app you wish to see it in. It will not automatically appear there: http://help.apple.com/ipad/7/#/iPad89149658

That refers to iTunes installed on a computer for purpose of syncing, not the iTunes app on your iPad.

Once you have the file stored in the Adobe or other app (you might also look into File Manager), you can send it in an email from that app.
