Hi all,
I have tried to change my apple id to my icloud as the email currently registerred will be closed soon. I have successfully changed the primary email adress but cannot change the apple id email. When trying to do so via the portal, https://appleid.apple.com/se/, it resets back to the old one. I can login with my icloud email but would feel better having removed the old apple id.

You can only change the email which is the Apple ID if it is a 3rd party mail provider's email address. You cannot change the email if it is an Apple domain, such as ; @mac.com, @me.com, etc.
What is the domain?
It is a 3rd party email that I'm changing from and I'd like to change to my icloud-mail. Can I do that or do I need another 3rd party email as my apple id?
You iCloud email is already an Apple ID. It can't be used in another Apple ID.
