gmail imap problum

hi i m anvesh rajput i m using i phone 3gs , last week i deleted my gmail account today

when i added my gmail i cannot get gmail the message says the mail server imap.gmail is not responding

verify that you have entered the correcct acount info in mail setting. i entred the correct informaction n no of times

i trying other mail and same problum i m facing. so plese tell me what i do for recover may gmail.
