Q: How do I unlock my phone for my SIM?

Hi! I bought a new iphone 5s in england but i live in france and have a french SIM card. When I try use the SIM i get a message saying that the Phone does not support my carrier... What do i need to do?

You need to contact the carrier in the UK to whom the iPhone is locked and ask about unlocking. Only that carrier can authorize an unlock.

Well when i was in england i asked 3 people what i should do and they al told me to go see my SIM provider in france... i went and they said go to england.
And i was told that as it was brand new, it would lock to the first SIM that was put in
