- Sign in with the Apple ID that you used for the original purchase.
See which Apple ID you used to download an item. - See if the content is available for redownload. Previously purchased items might not be available if they're no longer on the iTunes Store. If you changed your Apple ID from one country to another, you can’t download items you purchased in a previous country.

Apr 21, 2014 2:22 PM in response to mario49by Missfab76,Hi Mario - I recently changed the computer I synced my phone on so had to re-download everything - are you saying that even if I purchased a song, which is still on the iTunes store, but in a different version (ie I downloaded a single version, and the cover art has changed, so the one I purchased is not on there anymore), the only way to get that song again is to re purchase it? As far as I'm concerned if I've paid for the rights to use music, I own that right as long as I want?? Pretty cheeky way for Apple to make more money...
