There is nothing there.
If you are saying that when you highlight the top & bottom printer, no open scanner button appears something is wrong. Strange that you can scan!
Your system profile shows you are only using 10.6.4. Use Software Update to update your os to 10.6.8 and anything else that needs to be updated. Recommend that you use the 10.6.8 combo update instead of the one listed in Software Update. Afterwards Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963 and restart your computer.
Go back into System Preferences to see if you have the open scanner button in any of your 3 listed printers.
