How long before appearing in Manage Your Books?

I submitted a book via iTunes Producer two days ago (first time), but have yet to see anything appear in Manage Your Books in iTunes Connect. I received the note at the end of the upload saying that the book had been submitted and would appear in Connect within 24 hours. I am fine with a book taking time to go through the approval process, but how do I know if it is even 'in process'?

Thanks in advance for any tips and advice.

The review team can take anything from hours to weeks - there is no "norm" it depends how busy they are.

Average is around 10 working days. You can run a check by logging in to your iTunes Connect and check Manage your Content. Check out the status of your book.

Your book delivery was Ok and you had the green tick of success.... so the book is in review.

It shoud showin Manage your Content with an Orange dot and "In Review" or a Red dot and "Not on 51 Stores" a Green dot and "Im 51 Stores" means just that!

During review IF your book as issues they will give you a "ticket"... when you log into iTC, it will show as a red tag, open and check what you need to repair.

Nothing is showing in Manage Your Books. It just says "You do not currently have any books to manage." It has been three days since I uploaded. If it is in review, why doesn't it show in Manage your Books?

So the note that came up in Producer after I successfully uploaded "if the book doesn't appear in Connect within twenty-four hours, contact us" should be ignored? I was going to try and contact Apple via email, but I can't send them an email without the book's referenece number, which I don't have because it isn't listed in Connect. I'll keep waiting, but it seems to be a screwy system. I have no record of Apple actually receiving the files, except for a pop-up notification.

vinnyvg, thank you for your input and advice so far. Appreciate that.

Called in to support today. There was an issue with both books. I had used the .m4a audio format for audio recordings, per Apple's instructions for iBooks. Support suggested I change the extension to .m4p and reinsert the audio files. However, when I did that, I no longer had the option to have a scrubber bar display. So I converted the .m4a files to .mp3 and replaced all the files in the book. Resubmitted and within an hour they appeared in Manage Your Books.

Support said that they have been having an issue with .m4a files, but that they had not yet figured out why.

Again, thanks to all for input.

If they don't appear within a day, I would call support. My problem (explained in a previous post) prevented the books from making it into the system. Even though I received a green check that they were successfully submitted, they were stuck in limbo on Apple's servers. Once the problem was fixed, I resubmitted the books and within an hour they appeared in Manage Books and within a day they were in the store. I recommend calling support, they solved my problem right away and were very nice on the phone.
