I have iPad air (wifi). When i open the camera app the image quality has a blurred effect. Moreover in iPhone 4 which has almost same camera the image quality is better. Please help.

Bear in mind that the photo is actually taken when your finger releases the button in the Camera app. Perhaps that is a bit harder to do without moving the camera on the iPad than the iPhone because of the size difference in the devices.
Also check to see if the lens is clean.
Even if i keep my ipad still (that is with some support ) the view that the camera app offers has a blurr( effect.
is it natural or there is some defect in my iPad.
the back side of my iPad air is laminated so i can not clean the lens.
Laminated? Really? That may well explain the blur!
1. Put your iPad on a stand to prevent camera shake.
2. Give some time for the auto-focus to work (my iPad 4 takes about 3 seconds to focus)
3. Lighting is very important.
This photo was taken with light coming from the right.
iPad is on a stand.
A piece of A4 paper was use to reflect light on the left.
If it's the lamination it came in slide it off. You'll never know if it's the camera or the lens till you remove the lamination. If it's another type of lamination can you peel it back enough to expose the lens ?
