How can I retrieve an app that I deleted?
I inadvertently deleted an App on my IPad that was a link to an online Bible. Would like to be able to retrieve it. Can anyone help?

Open the App Store app > Purchased > find the app and tap the cloud icon to the right to redownload.
Tthanks so much but I did not purchase this app. it was an app for an online website. I can't find it anywhere.
So it was a shortcut to a website (you used the Add to Home Screen)?
Go to the website (check your history if you forget the address) and readd it to your Home Screen.
You mean a Web App?
Go back to the Website in question, and install it again.
They are basically just bookmarks.
Only apps from Apple's app store are legit on iOS devices. Is your iPad jail broken?
Cheers, Tom 😉
Thanks for everyone's help. I didn't know how to see bookmarks or web site history on my iPad. So went to my Mac and searched around and found an app that is very similar.
Yes, it was originally an Apple app.
If you can tell me how to see history on the iPad I would appreciate it.
Open Safari on the iPad and tap the book icon on the top right then tap the book icon tab in the dropdown (if not already selected) then History.
If you do not see History then tap the arrow in the top left corner of the dropdown until you do.
How did you get it in the frist place? Just do that again. When I said bookmarks I meant you can just go to the Website that installs a Web App and it should ask to install it again.
Anyway, if you found something else that works that's also good.
Well, it looks like I will have to break down and start using Safari. I have been a Foxfire and Google Chrome person.
Thanks for the tip on history and bookmarks.
It has been a long time since I first found the web site and app. I realized today that it was online-only access, I wanted to have it on my iPad as I don''t always have internet access.
Wel.... I just deleted it before I looked for a downloadable version.
This is a very helpful community!
Schrimpy2,
on a side note:
There is a Chrome app in the appstore for ipad, works very well. Many other browsers also if you are not satisfied with Safari.
As Phil0124 said, these aren't true apps as they aren't installed. They are essentially bookmarks (shortcuts) to a website so you will need internet access.
The only way to get a downloadable version would be in the App Store. Outside of that you will need an internet connection to use it.
No one said you have to abandon Firefox or Chrome. I don't use either but I am sure you can access their history also.
