Forgot my restriction passcode

Since your restrictions passcode is included with your iPhone's backup, you must restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new phone or not from the backup.

Thank you for your response. But just for clarification, I would have to manually re-install any apps or content onto my iPad after I restored it as a new iPad. Correct?

Will I get locked out for trying different restriction passcodes?
