Will motion 5 work on my iMac 21.5 inch, no upgrades? Also, I'm trying to make a lyric video with some fade out fly in animations, how can I set up a project to be in 1080p when I export it? And do you have any tips I should know? Thanks
It will mainly depend on the graphics hardware of your system. You will want to look at these two pages to determin if you computer is supported:

Go to "About This Mac" in your Apple Menu, then click the "More Info" button. This should give you the overview. Make sure your system is running 10.9 Mavericks or higher, and your graphics card is listed in the second link as one of the OpenCL compatible card.
If your computer is compatible, when you create projects in Motion, there is a preset for 1080 you can select. As for tips...start reading the manual and ask questions here as you need more specific help. 😁
