finder keeps refreshing

Hey everybody,

I recently installed a new SSD hard in my Macbook Pro, replacing the optical drive. I did this because I ran out of space on the original HHD of 250gb, and my mac actually turned itself off and would not boot back up. I installed a Kingston SH103S3120G media SSD. I followed the youtube tuts about how to do and now my computer reads and knows the SSD is there.

My Problem:

Since I did that, my finder windows, icons on the desptop and my dock keeps refreshing. It re-launches everything also every minute. That means I can't transfer files from one window to another, not to mention move large file off my main HDD to my SSD.

Did I do something wrong. Please help me out.
