Mar 1, 2014 3:11 AM in response to flopiby LowLuster,The battery needs to be changed. It's worn out. Doesn't really matter what the cycle count is. All batteries wear out over time. Each batttery is different. Some last a long long time, others not so long.
Yours need to be changed.

Mar 1, 2014 4:40 AM in response to LowLusterby flopi, hey, guess what, I just reopened the system report and now the ChargeRemaining is back to 1139 mAh after a SMC reset.
My steps to fix this:
- update Maverick to 10.9.2
- 3 times SMC reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
- system report still displaying wrong charge remaining,
- wait one hour
- it's fixed
So definitely a software issue with a random problem because the way to fix this seems weird.
So now I will use the Mac Book Pro on battery until it reach 0% and hope it will continue to be OK.

Mar 1, 2014 4:43 AM in response to flopiby LowLuster,It still reads SERVICE BATTERY.
You need to have the battery changed. Full charge capacity of 1139 is 5000 (mAh) lower than the Design Capacity.
No number of SMC resets will fix a worn out battery.

Mar 1, 2014 4:44 AM in response to flopiby clintonfrombirmingham,Apple batteries in notebooks aren't supposed to run down to 0% - that will do nothing but harm the battery even more than it's already damaged.
You need to follow the instructions in Battery Health and have your battery serviced (replaced).

Mar 1, 2014 4:57 AM in response to clintonfrombirminghamby flopi,Yes and still the Servie Battery message appears around 58%.
So the full charge capacity seems more realistic but the battery stills goes down very quickly.
After 15 min I am already at 45% charge.
