Hi, how do I merge my tracks in Garageband, just like the ones we do in the iPad?
There is no more 'Join' option in Garageband, and since I do have a lot of tracks, I would not like to join them by exporting the project because that would take up so much time.
Is there another way?

GarageBand '11 (and even the latest GBv10) does have a Join menuItem, it's under the Edit menu
I'm using the Garageband v6.0.5 in iLife, which I don't think is the latest version? There is nothing in the Edit menu, only split track...

odd. so your edit menu does not look like this::
The 'Join' option has been greyed out when I select all 3 tracks I want to merge.
I realised that I can only join parts of the SAME track, but not different tracks.
What do I do?

your image didn't work, but merging regions between tracks only works for MIDI regions, not audio. if you're trying to merge audio regions, you'll need to solo the tracks, export, and then drop the exported files back into the timeLine
