Mar 1, 2014 5:01 AM in response to 15-year-old Web Developerby FelipeV,Not really as an iPad SIM will only be provisioned for data. Thus if you try to use it on an iPhone you will most likely not be able to make calls. The vice versa will most likely be true.
Even though the sizes might be the same as you have pointed out, switching between iPhones and iPads will most likely NOT work.

Mar 1, 2014 5:37 AM in response to iany3700by ckuan,You cannot use a phone SIM only data sim from supported carrier for iPad.
From a supported iPad carrier you might also need to fill in the APN settings to make it work.
Settings > Cellular Data > APN Settings > here.
