Q: Why won't my iPhone connect to wifi after I changed to open DNS on my laptop and desktop?
Hello,
I recently changed the DNS server (ip4) on my laptop and desktop computer to an open DNS 208.67.222.222, they are both connected to my home wifi and I didn't configure the home wifi with the open DNS.
My iPhone has now stopped connecting to the home network and won't re-connect. I tried to change the DNS on my iPhone and realised this was a bad idea as it has now wiped the original DNS, Router, Search Domain and Client ID that I had before and I have no idea how to get them back. All it detects are the IP Address and Subnet Mask.
Can someone please tell me how I can get my iPhone to connect?
I know that changing the DNS on the laptop etc shouldn't affect it.
I am running windows 7 on my computer.
I have already tried resetting the network connection on my iPhone, before you recommend it!
iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.6
