Q: My new iPad Air has connection to iStore, but it gives me USA instead of UK. I don't know how to change it.....and I am a dinosaur in these matters:-)

Help. New iPad Air WiFi...has connection to iStore USA. I want iStore UK. For downloading films/ TV Series. How can I change it to UK?   Am dinosaur, so easy answers please :-)

    You are here in the UK and have a UK billing address on your account ? If you do then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the UK

    No...I live in Hungary, but use iTunes UK for films & TV. On my iPad 4 it worked well....but on this new iPad Air, it's all a mystery.

    If you are not here in the UK then you can't use the UK store - you need to be in a country to use its store, so if you are in Hungary then you can only use the Hungary store.

     

    The UK's store terms of use include (and other countries will be similar) :

     

    The Service is available to you only in the United Kingdom. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside this location. iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance.

     

    If there is a particular film or TV programme/series that you want to buy that isn't currently in the Hungarian store then you can try requesting that it be added, but unless the rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
