Even tough I verified that my YouTube username and password are correct, every time I try to upload a movie from iMovie to YouTube, I movie displays a message that says : Alert, user's name or password are incorrect"'. I am at my wits end, please help.

I have the same problem, and I would think that it has to do with Googles 2-step verification.
I am having this problem, too. I even created a new password for YouTube (via Google, had no issue w/ 2 step verification) and iMovie won't accept it.

I don't quite have an answer to your question, however I do have a workaround that would be to export the actual file onto your Mac and then upload the file onto YouTube.
dalekslayer96's option is unfortunatley the only simple solution I have found. That is unless you would like to try and reinstalling iMovie.
Also, just to check, for the username slot, are you typing in your email account or your YouTube username? Typing in your YouTube username will NOT work. It will only work with using the email account that the channel is linked to.
