Perhaps that would be your best choice since he/Apple are teh only ones that can do anything.

If all else fails with getting a replacement or you don't want to replace all of your software you can easily fix it yourself.

I just recently bought a kit for the same reason for an iPhone 5 and was able to be up and running within 20 minutes. I've always heard that you could not fix them your self, but apparently that is incorrect.

I used tvc-mall.com, but there are many other suppliers of Apple OEM parts, this is what it cost me.
