    When did you buy and activate the iPad ? Was it on/after the 1st September last year, or before that date ?

    APPLE HAS MADE IT A CUMPULSION THAT IF A APP IS NT PURCHASED BY A ID THEN IT WONT DOWNLOAD ON IT SO U CANT USE IT FOR FREE OK.....

     

    When u download iworks then it accesses ur info on ur id and checks weather u hav paid or nt and if nt then it wont download untill paid by credit card ok.....

    With iOS 7 compatible devices activated after 1st September iOS 7 some of Apple's apps are free - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5913 :

     

    iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated or purchased on or after September 1, 2013.
